Alto
Originally from Alola, Alto moved to Hoenn after his father died. While in Hoenn, they move in with Tanner, start their Pokemon journey, get harassed by an Ace Trainer, and (maybe) eventually become a Gym leader. I ran an entire askblog about his Pokemon, go look at their pages for more.

- Beethoven (Dusknoir)—Went missing aftera trade evolution gone wrong, eventually reunited with the team after Schubert joined.

Relationships
Tanner—He does trust them, it's just... hard to open up soemtimes. Most of this can be attributed to the two not really being in regular contact before Alto's move, and Alto being a teenage boy.
Ace Trainer—Alto couldn't stand him from the start, but it takes him releasing Beehoven for them to finally cut him off for good.
