Alto's Team
Bach
Alto's partner Pokemon and his starter. More outgoing than Alto was when they caught him, Bach helped them break out of their shell, especially when they moved to Hoenn. He's pretty good at jusging people, but he's not perfect, and sometimes blames himself for the trouble Alto can get into as a result of that.

Chopin
Alto's first Hoennian Pokemon, Chopin was released by a Bug Catcher who wasn't quite sure what they were, and released them out of confusion. Chopin doesn't blame the kid, and is the only pokemon on Alto's team that was released and didn't get lightly traumatized from the experience. Chopin rarely talks, but is very calming to be around.

Mozart
Mozart is Alto's only shiny Pokemon. They weren't even shiny hunting, he just sort of happened. Despite the fancy blue dye job, Mozart's just as sillygoofy as the rest of the team. Despite his easygoing nature, under the jokes and stuffing, there are some feelings he may or may not be allergic to. Sure, he's been completely in love with his Dusknoir friend for years, but he's kept it inside for long enough and he can totally keep it inside for longer, just watch him!

Beethoven
Alto's emo ghost dad. Beethoven was caught as a Duskull, evolved into a Dusclops under Alto's care, but his evolution into Dusknoir went wrong, with Beethoven being released and living as a wild Pokemon for ~2 years. They've been reunited, and the team is finally complete again. Still, there's a place in Beethoven's heart that begs for something more. But itt's been years, and it's not like Mozart would ever feel the way he does, right?
